Raw mountain retreat is an intimate 3 day journey into deep forests, open national parks, fresh springs, and wild embodiment.

After day 1 on the mountain, you can significantly clear your energy, empty your mind, gain confidence in your body, crack open your heart, and make new friends. It’s a retreat for the wild ones, those who follow the fall of adventure and put their soul first.

Blending practical hiking in raw nature with tantra and presence. No spiritual fluff - just the pure power of mountain energy holding space.

We’ll dive into aspects of feminine and masculine energy, explore archetypes, through actions and showing, not through too much explaining or talking.

This is why we bring our whole being to the mountains to feel the deep earth energy and allow transformation to occur actually on the path, not simply theorizing or talking about it.

IUDITA (top photo)

Mountaineer and restauranteur and mom based in London. Originally from northern Romania, where she began hiking, foraging, cooking at a young age. She’s been taking groups into the forests and mountains for years, most recently hiking the Matterhorn and has been hiking Yr-Wyddfa in the Snowdonia National Park multiple times a year for the past 10 years.

Energy worker and massage therapist, raised in Glastonbury. Her work as a feminine body worker and space holder began 13 years ago. An ashtanga yoga teacher training in the jungles of the Mexican Riviera is how she and Dani Maya began to know each other and work together.

LOCATION IN SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK NEAR YR-WYDDFA.

ACCOMMODATION IN AN EXTENSIVE PRIVATE PROPERTY.

SINGLE BED IN CLEAN AND COZY SHARED ROOM, COTTON BEDDING, TOWELS, BIO WASHING LIQUID INCLUDED.

WHOLESOME MEALS EACH DAY PREPARED BY TWO CHEFS, DANI MAYA AND IUDITA WITH LOCAL ORGANIC FOOD.

WE WILL PROVIDE NUTRITIOUS SNACKS, AND PACK LUNCHES FOR THE HIKES. WE RECOMMEND THAT GUESTS BRING THEIR OWN SNACKS IF THEY HAVE A SPECIFIC NEED, MEDICATION OR COMFORT FOOD.

TRANSPORTATION TO DOLWYDDELAN IS EASY FROM LONDON. FROM LONDON TO LLANDUDNO JUNCTION VIA TRAIN IS 3 HOURS. FROM LLANDUDNO JUNCTION THERE IS A LOCAL BUS TO ROMAN BRIDGE WHICH IS 1 HOUR. 2 HIKES ASCENDING 1-2 PEAKS (DEPENDING ON WEATHER) HIKES WILL OCCUR IN REASONABLE RAIN, SNOW AND WIND

ALL HIKING IS SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS, NON ATHLETES. HOWEVER ABILITY TO CLIMB STEEP STAIRS AND WALK FOR 5-6 HOURS WHILE CARRYING A SMALL BACKPACK (WITH 2L WATER AND LUNCH) IS REQUIRED. BREAKS AND PAUSES ARE ENCOURAGED, HOWEVER WE ARE ON MOUNTAINS WITH QUICKLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND WILL ADAPT AS BEST WE CAN TOGETHER AS A GROUP.

ITEMS TO BRING:

  • Hiking boots with a non flexible soul. Gym trainers are not appropriate.

  • Rain resistance jacket, yoga pants, fleece layer, hiking socks, wool cap, gloves, camel back/water bottle with 1-3L capacity, small backpack.

  • warm jumper/sweater, sleep clothes, sarong/parayo for sauna, comfortableclothes for evening practice and dance.
